title: "BSJ vs Teltonika DualCam: accessory, not video system"

A camera accessory for a Teltonika tracker

# BSJ against the Teltonika DualCam

If you already fit Teltonika trackers, the DualCam is the least work you can possibly do to answer a customer asking for video. It is also the smallest answer: 720p, event snapshots, and a tracker it cannot live without.

Per camera, ex VAT

€145–189

Teltonika DualCam: €195–241

The price

## What the vehicle costs, not what the camera costs

The DualCam cannot be bought on its own: it is an accessory on the serial port of an FMC tracker, so the honest comparison is the pair against our one box. Both halves have published European prices.

BSJ EH26 — 2 × 1080p, H.265, ADAS and DMS, GNSS on board

€145–189

Teltonika DualCam on its own — 720p, no AI, needs a tracker

€135–181

DualCam and an FMC125 — what one vehicle actually costs

€195–241

€0 €100 €200 €300

DualCam €135–181 depending on the distributor and whether the cards are in the box; FMC125 about €60 ex VAT at Getic. Ours is ex works, per camera, by annual volume — and it needs no tracker beside it, because the position and the telemetry come off the same device.

## The short answer, row by row

| | BSJ via FleetSight | Teltonika DualCam |
| --- | --- | --- |
| What it is | A camera that records, analyses and reports on its own | An accessory on RS232 to an FMC125, FMC225 or FMC650 — no tracker, no camera |
| Resolution | 1080p per channel, continuous | 720p video, stills up to 1920 × 1080 |
| AI on the device | ADAS and DMS on the dash cam range | None on the camera; driver events come from the tracker's accelerometer |
| Storage on board | 32–512 GB per slot, two slots on EH03T-V2 | 2 × microSD up to 128 GB, about 70 hours |
| Price | €145–189 to the integrator, by annual volume | About €135–175 for the camera, plus the tracker it needs |
| Platform | Included with the hardware, white-labelled to you, no per-device fee | Whatever you already run Teltonika on; video support depends on that platform |

## What each one is, feature by feature

This is the row that decides it: one of these is a camera and the other is a camera port on a tracker. Both are legitimate answers to a customer asking for video, and they are not the same answer.

| | BSJ EH26 | Teltonika DualCam and an FMC tracker |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Works without a second device | Camera, 4G, GNSS and the AI in one box | RS232 to an FMC125, FMC225 or FMC650 — no tracker, no camera |
| 1080p on every channel | 2 × 1080p, continuous | 720p video; stills up to 1920 × 1080 |
| ADAS and driver monitoring | On the device, tuned per fleet in the rules engine | None. Driver events come from the tracker's accelerometer |
| Storage on board | 32–512 GB a slot; 512 GB is about 35 hours of both channels | 2 × microSD up to 128 GB, about 70 hours at 720p |
| Video platform included | White-labelled, €0 a device, no term | Whatever you already run Teltonika on, and video support depends on it |
| European documentation and support | A first-year distributor and a factory in Huizhou — no wiki like theirs | The wiki, the stock and the support desk are why their kit is easy to fit |
| Least work for a shop already fitting Teltonika | A new device type, a new configurator and a new platform to learn | One cable onto a tracker you have already fitted a hundred times |

On the device, or in the price Depends on the model, or costs extra Not there

5 rows ours, 2 theirs, the rest a draw. From the Teltonika wiki and product page, and from bsjiot.com, read 20–22 September 2026. The DualCam's own price excludes the tracker it cannot work without.

## When to buy theirs instead

- For a van fleet that wants proof of a bump and nothing else, the DualCam on a tracker you already fit is the cheaper install and the shorter conversation.
- Teltonika's supply, documentation and European support are better than anything a first-year distributor can promise, and their wiki is the reason their kit is easy to fit.
- If the customer will never ask for live video, driver monitoring or footage off the card, the extra channels and the on-device AI are things you are buying for nobody.

## Where the numbers come from

- [Teltonika DualCam product page](https://www.teltonika-gps.com/products/accessories/video-telematics/teltonika-dualcam)
- [Teltonika DualCam wiki: specification and wiring](https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Teltonika_DualCam)

Read on 22 September 2026. Distributor prices are theirs, not the manufacturer's, and both move; euro figures converted at $1.147 where the source quoted dollars. If you have a current quote that says otherwise, it wins and we want to see it.

Our side of the table

## The models this page has been arguing about

Every figure above is one of these three. The specification on each page is transcribed from the manufacturer's own product page, with a link to it at the bottom so you can check the transcription rather than trust it.

### EH26

2-CH AI dash cam

The workhorse. Two 1080p channels with road and driver events on board.

 The specification →

### EH21

1-CH 4G dash cam

One channel at 30 fps with ADAS as an option — the entry into the line-up.

 The specification →

[EH21](https://fleetsight.app/hardware/eh21/)

### EH03T-V2

4-CH AI dash cam

Four channels and 2.0 TOPS of AI in a dash cam body, with two card slots.

 The specification →

[EH03T-V2](https://fleetsight.app/hardware/eh03t-v2/)

Then there are the two questions a price never answers: [what the fitting involves and what it costs](https://fleetsight.app/installation/), and [which platforms these run on today](https://fleetsight.app/compatibility/).

## The other comparisons

### Streamax

AI dash cams and MDVRs, sold through distribution

The benchmark in this class: €284–397 a camera and €4.49–11.21 a month on top.

### Howen

AI dash cams and MDVRs, sold through telematics platforms

Same channel, same class of hardware — they lead on connectors, we lead on price and platform.

 The comparison →

[Howen](https://fleetsight.app/compare/howen/)

### Jimi IoT

4G dash cams sold to integrators and fleets

Similar channel counts on paper; the difference is what is standard and what is an option.

### Movon MDAS-9

An ADAS warning module that feeds a tracker

A Tier-1 ADAS warning module — excellent at warnings, not a video system.

 The comparison →

[Movon MDAS-9](https://fleetsight.app/compare/movon/)

### Samsara

A subscription fleet platform with its own cameras

The subscription incumbent: $94 per vehicle a month at list, against hardware you own.

[Samsara](https://fleetsight.app/compare/samsara/)

### Hikvision mobile DVR

Security-brand mobile recorders, sold through CCTV distribution

The default onboard recorder in Latin America — strong hardware, somebody else's ecosystem.

 The comparison →

[Hikvision mobile DVR](https://fleetsight.app/compare/hikvision/)

### Intelbras iFleet

The Brazilian incumbent: DVR veicular with local support

Brazil's default: local brand, local RMA, 720p on the entry recorder.
