For the fleet, not the reseller

# A camera in every van for €11–32 a month, all in.

The rest of this site is written for the integrators who buy from us in hundreds. This page is the same product costed the way you buy it: one vehicle, three years, every line included — hardware, fitting, the card, the SIM and the platform. Nothing is annualised out of sight and nothing is a "from" price you cannot actually get.

The whole cost, line by line [What to tell your drivers](https://fleetsight.app/driver-data/)

## "Free platform" does not mean "no monthly bill". Here is the difference.

Your monthly bill comes from the integrator who fitted the cameras, not from us, and the platform line on it is zero. What they charge for the SIM, support and monitoring is theirs to set — €10–25 a vehicle a month is the going rate in this market, and some fold it into the hardware price instead. Ask for it itemised: there is no platform licence hiding inside it.

01 — One vehicle, three years

## €394–1,138 over three years, or €11–32 a vehicle a month.

A two-channel AI dash cam, the class most vans get. The right-hand column matters as much as the numbers: four of these six lines are billed by your integrator, not by us, and knowing which is which is how you read a quote.

Fitted carefully, supported by your own people

Everything bought in, support included

The platform is the segment you cannot see. It is nought euros wide, in both bars, for all three years.

| Line | Year one | Each year after | Billed by |

Swipe the table to see who bills you

Three years, everything in, is €11–32 a vehicle a month at the extremes — and the spread is almost entirely the support you choose to buy, not the hardware. Insurance excess on one at-fault claim you can disprove is usually more than the whole column.

Van, two-channel AI dash cam

€90–170

45–90 minutes

Truck or bus, four to eight channels

€450–750

Most of a day

Where that comes from

Trade planning figures at €60–120 an hour of auto-electrical labour, not quotes from us — the integrator doing the work prices it. A yard of vehicles booked into one week costs less per vehicle than one van on its own, and a vehicle that has to come off the road for it costs more than both.

That is the whole number. Now find out what your integrator quotes against it.

Tell us the country and how many vehicles. We name the integrator covering your region and send you the hardware price they buy at, so you can see which part of their quote is service and which is margin.

02 — What turns up

## What is in the box, and what is not.

On forty vehicles, a missing line item is forty of them. The card is the one people discover on the day, so it is in the box unless you tell us otherwise.

### Ships with every camera

- The camera, configured for your server and your recording policy before it ships, not a factory default somebody re-keys on the windscreen
- The loom: permanent, ignition sense and ground, with the fuses
- Windscreen mount, adhesive pad and one spare pad
- A 128 GB card, formatted in the camera — say so if you want 256 or 512 instead
- The ident on the box label and on the packing note, so a hundred cameras are booked in without opening one

### You or your integrator supply

- The SIM. Your own M2M contract or the integrator's — it takes a nano-SIM and the APN goes in at commissioning
- The vehicle, and a fitter's half-hour to full day of it
- External cameras and their aviation cables where a vehicle needs more channels than the box holds. Quoted per configuration, so tell us the vehicle

03 — When it arrives

## 10–14 days from European stock, 4–6 weeks from the factory.

From European stock

10–14 days

A replacement for a failed unit

10–14 days

A restock from the factory

4–6 weeks

A configuration we do not stock

6–8 weeks

Order 2 wk 4 wk 6 wk 8 wk

The solid part of each bar is the fast end of the window and the lighter part is the slow one. Start the works council conversation on the day you order: it outlasts every bar here.

From European stock

10–14 days

The models we keep on the shelf, in the quantity a first order is usually written for.

A restock from the factory

4–6 weeks

Sea freight from Shenzhen and customs. Air is faster and priced by the kilo — worth it for two demo units, rarely for a batch.

A configuration we do not stock

6–8 weeks

Eight-channel recorders with specific external cameras are built against the order.

A replacement for a failed unit

10–14 days

Out of the buffer while yours goes to the factory, so a dead camera is a swap and not a repair queue.

04 — Insurance

## A third-party claim is €1,123–5,856. Fitting the vehicle is €340–490.

Fuel and coaching savings are real and slow. The line that repays a fleet in one event is the claim, so that is the one to plan on. The figures below are not ours and not a camera vendor's: they come from the European insurers' federation, a broker's own loss library, the ABI and a police fraud unit, and every one of them is linked.

€1,123–5,856

Average third-party claim

Malta at the bottom of Europe, France at the top. At €340–490 to fit a vehicle, the cheapest market on that list still pays for two of them and the dearest pays for seventeen.

£6,308

Hit a third party in the rear

25,203 incidents costing £159 m — the dearest cause per claim in Marsh's top ten. It is also the one where your driver is presumed at fault until something shows otherwise.

128,116

Manoeuvring, the two most frequent causes

Hitting an immobile object and hitting a parked one, £240 m between them. The claims a fleet makes most often are the ones nobody disputes, so a reversing channel earns its money by preventing them rather than by winning them.

≈75%

Crash for cash, staged or induced

Of more than £25.3 m of suspected fraud IFED investigated over five years. A collision somebody caused on purpose is close to unwinnable without video and close to unloseable with it.

£5,063

UK motor claims, first quarter of 2025

£3.2 bn paid across 632,000 settled claims, the highest quarterly payout the ABI has on record. Private cars rather than fleets, so read it as direction: the European figures above are a floor, not today's price.

Insurance Europe's country comparison is their last pan-European one and uses 2016 figures, so treat the claim range as a floor — the ABI's quarterly record above is what has happened to claim costs since. Marsh's causes are their Loss Data Library to 31 December 2023, and they call it a rough guide themselves.

### Something to negotiate with at renewal

Insurers price the risk they can see. A fleet that can produce footage and a coaching record is a different submission from one that cannot. We are not going to quote you a percentage — your broker will, and they will want to know which cameras and what retention.

### Evidence that survives being looked at

The event card carries the clip, the map, the device time against the received time and who reviewed it. The share link opens without an account and expires on a date you set. That is the difference between evidence and an anecdote.

### Footage that is still there when you need it

Events and their clips are kept 90 days. Everything else sits on the card until somebody asks for it — a 128 GB card is about nine hours of both channels, so decide the card size against how long it takes your drivers to report an incident, not against the price of the card.

05 — Day one

## What runs on day one, and what is still being built.

Our own platform is honest about its state, so read this before you buy on it. The short version: the hardware is proven and shipping, and the software you get for nothing is the part still being finished.

Works today

### Wialon, today

Fourteen of these models are in Wialon's device list right now, with event video, live view and playback. If your integrator runs Wialon, the vans are on a screen the day they are fitted and nothing here waits on us.

In build

### Our own platform, free with the cameras

The application and its backend are finished and run end to end. The gateway that talks to the cameras is verified against a device simulator, live video included, but it has not met a BSJ camera on a bench yet. Until it has, treat it as the option you get for nothing rather than the reason you bought.

Works today

### Neither locks the other out

The cameras are yours. Run them in Wialon and move to ours later, run both, or never move at all — the platform is included either way and there is no contract that punishes the choice.

06 — Drivers and GDPR

## What GDPR requires before the cameras are fitted.

A lawful basis on paper, a DPIA, written notice to the drivers, and in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands a works council agreement that takes weeks — longer than the freight from Shenzhen. Eight of your obligations are features we already built: subject erasure, per-driver export, a twelve-month access log, faces and plates blurred before a clip leaves, and a cabin camera that switches off on the device rather than in a setting.

 [Driver data and the GDPR](https://fleetsight.app/driver-data/)

07 — Before you ask

## Questions fleets ask

### ### So is the platform free or is it €10–25 a month?

Both numbers are real and they are different things. The platform costs nothing — there is no per-device fee, no seat count and no term on it, ever, for cameras bought through us. The €10–25 is what integrators in this market charge a fleet for the service around it: the SIM, the support, someone answering when a camera goes dark. Ask for your quote itemised and you will see the platform line at zero.

### ### Can I buy direct and skip the integrator?

No, and it is not a policy we bend for a big enough order. We import, we hold stock and we run the software; we do not fit cameras in vans or answer a phone at seven in the morning when one is offline. The integrator does, and that is worth more to you than the margin you would save.

### ### What if there is no integrator in my country?

Then we say so instead of stalling. Depending on the country we will either name the nearest partner who travels, or tell you it is not covered yet — at which point you are better off with a local supplier and we will not waste a month of yours pretending otherwise.

### ### What happens if I want to leave?

The cameras are yours, bought outright, and they work on Wialon and on our platform. There is no term and no licence to cancel. Export your footage before you go — that is a job in the platform, not a support ticket.

### ### How much of my mobile data will this eat?

About 40 MB a vehicle a month, because nothing streams in the background: telemetry, the events and one frame each. Video goes up only when somebody asks for it. Pulling a gigabyte off a card costs €1.50–3.00 in mobile data, so the platform carries a monthly ceiling on card pulls and refuses past it rather than sending you a bill nobody agreed to.

### ### What do I tell my drivers?

More than you think, and earlier than you think. A camera pointed at a person at work needs a lawful basis on paper, a DPIA, written notice to the drivers and — in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands — a works council agreement that takes weeks. We wrote the whole thing out on a separate page rather than hiding it in a footnote.

An integrator in your country, and the price they buy at

## Tell us where the vans are.

We do not sell to fleets and we do not fit cameras — we hand the enquiry to the integrator covering your region, who quotes the fitting and holds the contract. You get the hardware price they buy at, so you can see what is margin and what is service. If there is no partner in your country yet we will say so rather than sit on it.
