# The factory, its filings, and the claims we could not stand up

The head office in Longhua, Shenzhen. The name on the wall — 深圳市博实结科技股份有限公司 — is the one that files the accounts.

Here is what you can check without taking our word for any of it. BSJ Technology is a household name in exactly one country, and it is not yours — but it is also a company whose accounts are audited twice a year in public, whose address is in a listing prospectus, and whose cameras are counted by a platform with no stake in either of us.

01 — What the filings say

## Six audited figures, each linked to the filing it came from

These six decide whether a supplier is still there in three years, which is the only question that matters when the warranty is one year and the fleet is on the road for five. The links under them open the documents the figures came out of.

¥1.712 bn

Revenue 2025

CNY 1,711,517,712 — about €219 m. Up 22.1% on 2024.

¥423 m

Export revenue 2025

About €54 m, 24.7% of the business and growing faster than the home market at 29.1%.

¥235 m

Net profit 2025

About €30 m, up 33.7%. Profitable, and more so than the year before.

¥910 m

First half of 2026

Six months to June, up 13.1%, with ¥124 m of profit. Still growing as this page is written.

Founded 2009, so the listing is recent and the company is not.

The 2025 report names South Africa and India as the destinations behind the export terminals it breaks out — 1.18 million units and ¥144 m between them. Europe is not in that table. A quarter of this factory's revenue is already earned abroad, and almost none of it here: that gap is the whole reason we exist.

Filed on cninfo, the disclosure portal of the Chinese securities regulator, where a wrong figure is a criminal matter rather than a marketing one. The 2025 accounts were filed on 20 April 2026 and the half-year on 25 August 2026. Euro figures are at 7.8 CNY/EUR and rounded — argue with the yuan.

03 — Wialon's own count

## 1,242 of these cameras are live in Wialon, and 664 are online right now

Gurtam publishes a live count for every device type on its platform. BSJ Video carries 2.06% of all video devices connected to the Wialon Data Center — the largest single video device type of the ones we checked, ahead of both rivals we write comparison pages about. Neither we nor the factory can move that number.

The honest caveat: Howen and Streamax are split across a dozen device types each, so their totals across every entry are higher than the single row here. This compares one device type with one device type, which is the only comparison the counter supports.

04 — What the factory owes us

## The warranty you claim against, and what the factory owes us behind it.

**Term**

One year from shipment, repair or replacement on a manufacturing or material defect.

**Turnaround**

Thirty calendar days from arrival at Huizhou, in warranty. Fifteen working days at Shenzhen, out of it.

**Who pays**

Return freight is ours; import duty into China is theirs while the unit is in warranty.

**Spares**

Free in warranty, against return of the failed part within a year.

**Batch returns**

A distributor may hold failed units and clear them once a year rather than ship singles.

From [the manufacturer's own warranty policy](https://www.bsjiot.com/en/about-us/warranty). Thirty days in a queue in Huizhou is why we hold a buffer in Europe: your customer gets a working unit on the usual ten to fourteen days while the failed one makes that trip.

05 — What we could not stand up

## Four claims that did not survive a check

Everything above is a filing, a counter or an address you can check without asking us. These four are not, and a page that printed only the first kind would be worth exactly as much as the factory's own.

- ### The certificates have no numbers
BSJ shows eight marks — IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, CE, FCC, ANATEL, BIS, NBTC — as pictures, without certificate numbers or the body that issued them. Nothing there can be looked up in a registrar's database. Tell us the model and the country and we ask for the certificate itself.
- ### The Berg Insight line does not check out
Their site carries an image saying BSJ is recognised by Berg Insight as a leading aftermarket telematics hardware supplier. Berg Insight's public ranking names Teltonika, Xirgo, Jimi IoT, Queclink and CalAmp, then a longer list — BSJ is not in it. Until we see the report page that says otherwise, we do not repeat the claim.
- ### The line counts disagree with each other
The website says 28 SMT lines, the corporate film says more than twenty automated lines, and a caption in the same film says nearly forty semi-automatic assembly lines. Those are three counts of three different things, and we print them as the vendor does rather than picking the biggest.
- ### Nine million devices is their figure
So is thirty countries, so is four hundred patents. None of it appears in the audited accounts in that form. The revenue and the share of it earned outside China do, and that is why those are the numbers at the top of this page.

The same principle runs through [the compatibility matrix](https://fleetsight.app/compatibility/), which lists the platforms we are not on, and [our own page](https://fleetsight.app/about/), which lists what is not finished here.

The certificate for your model and your country, in writing, before you order.

Tell us the country and the models you care about. You get the certificate itself or a plain sentence saying it does not exist yet, plus two demo cameras configured for your platform before they ship.

Ask for the certificate file [See the catalogue](https://fleetsight.app/hardware/)

06 — Asked about the factory

## Questions about who builds them

### ### Is BSJ actually top three in China?

We have not found a public ranking that says so, and we do not print it on the page. What is public: the company is listed on the Shenzhen exchange, it turned over ¥1.71 bn in 2025 with a quarter of that earned on export, it made ¥235 m of profit doing it, and its cameras are the most-connected video device type in Wialon of the ones we checked. That is a weaker claim than top three and it has documents behind it.

### ### What happens to my cameras if the factory drops the model?

They keep working: the protocol is documented, fourteen models sit in Wialon's device list on a device type that has nothing to do with us, and FleetSight runs them either way. What we cannot promise yet is a written end-of-life notice period from the factory. We are asking for one and we will publish it here when it exists.

### ### Does the camera send anything to China?

The device talks to the server you point it at. On FleetSight that is our infrastructure; in Wialon it is Gurtam's. The factory's own cloud is a separate product we do not resell and do not configure. If your tender asks the question formally, ask us for it in writing and we will answer per model.

### ### Can I audit the factory?

Yes, and it is the reason the addresses on this page are exact. Buyers at volume visit Huizhou; smaller buyers usually settle for the certificate file and a sample. Tell us which you need.

### ### Who do I claim against if a camera fails?

Us. Asset Track invoices you, so Asset Track owes you the warranty, and we ship a replacement from the European buffer instead of putting you in a factory queue. What is below sets out what the factory then owes us.

Price list and two demo cameras

## Put one in a vehicle before you decide.

Tell us the platform you run, the vehicles you fit and roughly how many cameras a year. You get the current price list, the certificate list for the models you care about, and two demo cameras configured for your platform before they ship — at your own trade price, credited against your first order.
