02 — What it is, physically
The size, the connectors and the loom
Everything here is transcribed from the manufacturer's dimension drawing and I/O table.
It is the half of the specification an installer needs and the half nobody publishes.
- POWER
- B+, B− and ACC on a locking connector.
- AV3, AV4
- Two AHD camera inputs.
- ADAS
- The road-facing camera on its own port.
- DMS
- The driver-facing camera on its own port.
- 4G antenna
- External, screw-on. Not a stub.
- GNSS antenna
- Also external — the reason a recorder holds a fix in a metal box body.
- 12 V out
- Feeds the cameras, so they need no separate supply.
- RS232
- Serial, for a peripheral the firmware knows about.
- RS485 A/B
- The bus most fleet sensors actually arrive on.
- VGA
- A monitor in the cab.
- MIC
- External microphone.
- TTS
- Speaker out for spoken alerts to the driver.
- SIM
- Nano SIM.
- SD ×2
- Two card slots, 32–512 GB each.
- DEBUG, USB
- Configuration and offload.

Colour
|
Signal
|
What it does
|
| Red | VIC (B+) | Battery positive, straight off the isolator on a truck. |
| Black | GND (B−) | Battery negative. |
| Orange | ACC | Ignition sense. This is the wire that decides when the camera sleeps, and the one most often taken off a fuse that is live with the key out. |
| White | SOS | Panic input, pulled to ground by a button. The clip it saves is the one that goes to the insurer. |
| Grey | Left turn / DIN_H1 | Indicator sense, so a lane-departure warning knows the driver meant it. |
| Purple | Right turn / DIN_H2 | The other indicator. Same job, other side. |
| not given | Brake, door sensors, DIN_L1 | Discrete inputs, which on a bus is how the door count gets into the telemetry. |
| not given | ADC1, ADC2 | Two analogue inputs rather than the dash cams' one. |
| not given | 1-Wire data | Driver identification. |
| Yellow | Fuel−
out
| Low-side output for a fuel-cut relay. It switches the relay, never the pump. |
| not given | 5 V out, custom low output
out
| Peripheral power and one switched output. |

Colours are transcribed from the manufacturer's own drawing and are not a substitute for a
multimeter on the first vehicle of a batch. This is the box with the full panel: seventeen labelled connectors on two faces. It is also the only model whose datasheet claims CE, FCC, NBTC, EMARK and UKCA together.
