Most of this market quotes on request, which is how a €189 camera gets sold at four times that with a subscription attached. Here is the whole thing: what an integrator pays, what a fleet pays fitted, what the platform costs every month, and the lines that are not ours to charge for.
01 — The two prices
One if you are putting cameras in your own vehicles, one if you sell them to fleets for a living. The monthly figure is the same either way, and it is zero: the class of camera Streamax AD Plus 2.0 sells at $560 usually arrives with a subscription attached.

02 — Where a price list hides things
The camera is bought once; the platform is bought thirty-six times
A hardware price on its own is not comparable with anything. Streamax AD Plus 2.0 is €284–397 ex VAT at a European distributor — and its cloud is a licence per vehicle per month. Counted over three years, that is where the gap actually is.

03 — The small print, unhidden
What the figure does not include
Four things move a published price, and all four are somebody's margin or somebody's customs officer. None of them are a surprise if they are written down first.
- The figures on this page are the two-channel AI dash cam, the class most vehicles get. Four-, six- and eight-channel recorders and their external cameras are quoted per configuration — tell us the vehicle.
- Prices are per camera-class device, ex works, before freight and duty. Ask for the current list — it moves with the exchange rate and the batch.
- The €250–320 band is what integrators sell these cameras on for; each sets their own price, and fitting, SIM and their own support are theirs to quote.
- Warranty is the vendor's: one year from shipment, repair or replacement. What we add is the stock buffer, so your customer is not waiting for a factory turnaround.
"Free platform" does not mean "no monthly bill"
Your monthly bill comes from the integrator who fitted the cameras, not from us, and the platform line on it is zero. What they charge for the SIM, support and monitoring is theirs to set — €10–25 a vehicle a month is the going rate in this market, and some fold it into the hardware price instead. Ask for it itemised: there is no platform licence hiding inside it.

What does a fleet dash cam cost?
A two-channel AI dash cam with ADAS and driver monitoring is €145–189 per camera to an integrator, by annual volume, ex works. A fleet buying one fitted from that integrator pays €250–320 for the camera and €90–170 for the fitting on a van. Four-, six- and eight-channel recorders are quoted per configuration, because the external cameras and the cable runs are most of the difference.
What does the platform cost per month?
Nothing, for devices bought from us — no per-device fee, no seat count, no term, for as long as those cameras are yours. Devices bought elsewhere run on the same account at €1.50–2.00 a device a month, because there is no hardware margin behind them to pay for the service.
Is that cheaper than a subscription camera?
Over three years, yes, and not by a small margin. Streamax's own cloud is sold as a licence per vehicle per month at €4.49–11.21 by retention tier, so their camera and its licence come to €446–801 for one vehicle over thirty-six months against €169 here. Samsara at list is $39 a month for GPS and ELD plus $55 for a dual AI dash cam, which is about €3,429 over the same three years. What is not in the price?
Freight, duty and local taxes — the figures are ex works. The SIM, the fitting and the support a fleet buys are the integrator's to price and to keep. And the price list moves with the exchange rate and the batch, so the one we send you is the one to quote from.
What does a vehicle cost over three years, everything in?
€394–1,138 all in, which is €11–32 a vehicle a month — camera, fitting, card, SIM, the platform at zero and whatever support the fleet chooses to buy. The spread is almost entirely the support, not the hardware.
Do I have to commit to a volume to get the price?
The tier is set by what you take in a year, not by one order, and it is reviewed rather than enforced by contract. Ten cameras a year is a real tier with a real price on it; nobody is asked to buy five hundred to see a number.
